🔄 Import/Export UI Design — BizFlowEngine

BizFlowEngine provides powerful Import and Export options for UI designs, enabling seamless movement across environments and easy backups.

🧭 Why Use Import/Export?

• Avoid making changes directly in the live environment.
• Maintain backups and revert changes if needed.
• Move UI designs across environments: Development, Testing, UAT, and Production.

📦 How It Works

1. Open your UI design in Edit Mode.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click Export Design.
3. A file (e.g., Demand Note_Export) will be downloaded.

🏗️ Practice Example

Step 1: Create UI Group

• Create a new UI group named Inventory.

Step 2: Create UI Design

• Create a new design named Demand Note under the Inventory group.
• Grant access rights to a role via SysAdmin.

Step 3: Export Design

• Open Demand Note in Edit Mode.
• Click Export Design to download the file.

Step 4: Import Design

• Create a new UI named Demand Note (Import) under Inventory.
• Skip Object Tree creation.
• Scroll to Import/Export section and Import the downloaded file.

⚠️ Be careful: Importing into the wrong UI will overwrite its Object Tree. Always back up before importing.

🧪 Import Test Feature

• Available in Display Mode at the top of the designer.
• Allows previewing the imported design before applying changes.
• Shows configuration and Object Tree for verification.

🔁 Updating Designs Across Environments

1. Make changes in the source UI (e.g., add objects, modify properties).
2. Export updated design.
3. Import into target UI (e.g., Demand Note (Import)).
4. Activate the updated UI and assign access rights.

✅ Both UIs will now reflect identical changes.
